Hey, I'm Matt! (They/them or he/him pronouns, please!) I'm an early 30s government worker who's really into a bunch of forever fandoms. (Mostly Animorphs, various tokusatsu shows, Devil Survivor, and a few others.) I'm also really into Final Fantasy XIV as you can tell by my character here. (I'm on Famfrit in the Primal data center if you are, too.)

Nara'a Sunvara here is the Warrior of Light. Or... well, one of them in this game, probably. He's done all the hero stuff and is canon compliant up to the end of Endwalker/6.0, but I'll warn for spoilers if that stuff comes up. He brings with him the ability to use different "jobs" (aka classes) - the three he's got with him are Red Mage (magic boom booms with a melee component), Reaper (a scythe user), and Warrior (big fuckoff axe and self-healing).

His partner is Botamon, and he's a very adorable crybaby of a digimon. He's going to be very excited to meet his tamer! So excited that he might just cry...

I didn't poke you on the TDM, mostly because I wasn't sure how that would be taken, but it's good to see someone else in the cast here!

But yessss Famfrit! I only started playing this past June, actually... I kind of mainlined MSQ in about a month and a half or so.

It... took me quite a bit longer to get through MSQ, I confess, though that may be largely because I'm a completionist at heart and I wanted to do as much as I could in each expansion before moving on >>;

That's very fair. XD I wanted to catch up to my friends... it took me a long time to even get the aether currents in each area. >>;

So I gave in and marathoned a show to bring a second character - Kouga Saejima of Garo fame. Or... not fame if you're not really into tokusatsu shows.

He's gruff and generally unpleasant to those who haven't earned his care or respect, which is hard to do. He's going to be sticking a magic lighter in peoples' faces to make sure they're not Horrors, which are the things he fights. They're... very body horror monsters.

Fortunately to aid with the friendliness he's got both a digimon (Dodomon) and a magic talking ring (Zaruba) - though the latter isn't likely to talk to people much at first. Still, he's a powerful fighter who will protect humans. ... Other species might take some adjusting.
