Tamer Union: Officially Open!

Hey all! I'm happy to announce that Tamer Union is officially open! Players may start logs of their own and make network posts as well.

With that comes a few announcements! First of all, the Intro Event is now live! You may plot with one another in the space designated below, or you can simply go ahead and post!

Furthermore, a number of new pages are up, which you can find on our handy Navigation post. Let's go over several of them real quick.

First off, all characters must have a thread made for themselves on the Activity Check page. Follow the instructions there and make sure you get AC for the month before it is over.

Second of all, Locations/Major NPCs has been updated with our starting locations and some important Digimon/beings most characters' partners should know about.

Third, the first batch of Monthly Quests have been made. All characters may take these, even if someone else has made a thread with one already, and in exchange for completing them, you will earn an evolution point for the month!

Finally, the event schedule for this month is as follows: The intro thread that's up is our bigger event for the month, with a smaller one coming mid-month. This is only for the launch of the game. In the future, the month will begin with smaller events, with a larger one occurring in the middle of the month.

Is there some sort of housing situation going on? How is that being handled?

Greetings, friends! Taiki and Gazimon are found talking with other tamers to gauge who might be amenable to forming a proper adventuring party! Or simply gathering information.

He's certainly going to be involving himself in the Goblimon situation, but I'm also looking for someone who might be interested in joining him for a spot of well-compensated childrearing. If anyone wishes to join in the Monthly Quests with me, do let me know!

From the FAQ:

➤ Where will my character live?

A home for your character and their partner will be provided in Access City, the main location hub for the game. It’s your basic one bedroom, one bath style affair, so the two of you better learn to share! The outer appearance of your home can be customized using an app in your Digivice, and can be expanded using rewards for Bonus AC (but more on that later).

The home expansion matter will be elaborated upon when Items/Rewards goes up.

For the first event post, there's a shopping sale going on. Given we start with no money, has there been enough passage of time to have made a bit of money doing odd jobs or aid around Access City?

Do the merchants engage in barter or purchase items?

Edit: I now noticed in the event post that a stipend was handed out but I see no mention of this stipend in the game stuff; it still mentions everyone's broke when first arriving. Does this need to be updated? Is there a ballpark of the stipend or just go with 'decent enough to buy necessities and maybe a special thing or two' vagueness?

Also I wanted to ask with regards to the housing situation- if two people arrived together from the same place, could they request a 'living next door' situation or will it be random assignments regardless?

There is definitely some possibility here for child caring and Themis showing up in proximity and/or overlapping a day. I am going to be talking to Erichthonios's player about this as well for reasons but this will have to wait for later today (my timezone). Anyway the possibilities are endless. +_+

The stipend is a one time thing that we’re doing for the start of the game; just Tamer Union trying to help the first batch of Tamers get on their feet. My apologies. I should have made that clearer.

You can have the merchants do whatever you want, as long it’s within reason! We’re flexible here. And yeah, two homes being next to each other should be alright.

I have a few suggestions for logs/some queries if anyone's interested in these things!

Kaiba's considering a trip to the crashed airship to search for supplies, if anyone would be interested in helping out! He'll also be making frequent trips to RGB Ridge for gemstones, Petitmon needs food to grow and she's very hungry.

On the quest side, I'm willing to have them investigate the sewers. It's dirty work, but he believes it'll pay better. Anyone interested in any of these logs?

I definitely want to throw Hikari at Kaiba. Maybe something with the RGB Ridge would work for them, since Hikari and Tailmon are going to at least be looking around and patrolling where they have access to right now.
